A slow moving cold front will lead to severe storms over central and southern Kansas this evening and into the overnight hours. The main threat will be very large hail and strong wind gusts to 70 mph. Storms will move northeast through the night.
Expect showers and storms throughout the day on Tuesday with highs in the 50s west / 60s central and east. Some of the storms in eastern Kansas could produce small hail on Tuesday, but severe weather is less likely.
Lingering showers are still possible on Wednesday with cooler temperatures regionwide. Highs will be in the upper 50s and low 60s around the area.
