(WICHITA, Kan.) — A viewer asks why we can't air Eyewitness News at the regular times on our Always On Storm Team 12 channel when NCAA basketball or NFL football runs late.
There are a couple of problems with that idea.
The purpose of having our Always On Weather Channel is just that...to provide a place where you can ALWAYS see weather.
Also, it's not in High Definition, and not everyone can see the 12.2 channel because DirecTV and Dish don't carry it.
It's just one of those cases where we can't give everyone what they want at all times.
Believe me, with KWCH, our Always On 12.2, KSCW, Spanish-language newscasts on KDCU, etc...we've made things complicated enough!
But it's nice to be asked a question that indicates someone really does want to see our news.
