(WICHITA, Kan.) — I admit by mentioning this I am showing my age.
But if you're of a certain generation, you no doubt remember Joyland Amusement Park on south Hillside in Wichita.
Even though I spent my childhood in Hutchinson, many of us made the trek to the "big city" to visit Joyland.
The park has been closed for a while after falling on hard times.
Saturday, April 7, there is a fundraising car show aimed at reviving Joyland.
It will feature classic cars at Northwest High School from 1 to 6 pm.
The school is at 1220 N. Tyler Road.
