Southern Kansas will see more clouds than sun Monday along with a chance for a few spotty showers or storms. Severe weather is not likely, but a few of the storms may have small hail and heavy downpours and by evening the showers/storms could briefly spread into central parts of our state. Look for afternoon highs Monday in the 60s with some lower 70s over northeast Kansas where there will be more sunshine.
Storm chances will end Monday evening but the clouds will stick around through Tuesday morning. Since sunshine will be limited Tuesday, highs only be in the mid to upper 60s and while it will look like it could rain chances for anything measurable will be low.
Right now Wednesday looks dry with under a mostly cloudy sky with high in the mid-60s.
Temperatures will warm into the 70s by week's end but rain and storm chances will also be on the rise once again.
