April 10, 2012|By Meteorologist Mark Larson | Storm Team 12

Clouds will be rather stubborn in western Kansas this afternoon, holding highs back in lower 60s. More sun is expected across central and eastern Kansas by afternoon where highs will rise in to the upper 60s.

Look for scattered showers and storms to move back in to southwest Kansas Tuesday night. Right now Wednesday looks dry under a partly to mostly cloudy sky along with high in the mid-60s.

We can expect more widespread showers and storms plow into Kansas late Thursday, Friday and Saturday with afternoon highs warming into the 70s by week's end.
