Severe weather is expected in western Kansas this evening with hail, wind, and a few tornadoes possible.
Storms are already developing and they will move east/northeast through the evening, but as the storms approach central Kansas, they should weaken. Lows tonight will be in the low 40s northwest/to upper 50s in southcentral Kansas.
Scattered storms will be possible in central and eastern Kansas on Friday and Saturday, including the possibility for large hail, strong wind, and a few tornadoes.. Highs will be back in the 70s for much of the state heading into the weekend.
