(WICHITA, Kan.) — The National Weather Service released a map highlighting the path Saturday's tornado took through Sedgwick County. It started near west 79th street south and Seneca in Haysville and moved northeast ending around east Central and K-96.
While on the ground, the tornado ranged from 1/4 mile to 1 mile wide. It was 1 mile wide when it hit Boeing and Spirit AeroSystems. The strongest part of the tornado was an EF3, with winds between 136 to 165 miles an hour.
At various point the tornado ranged from an EF0 to an EF2 as well. Those winds range from 60 to 135 miles an hour.

An assessment team spent the last couple of days in Sedgwick County following up on the tornadoes path. The National Weather Service says the most significant damage has been noted on the west side of McConnell Airforce Base, Spirit Aerosystems and further southwest into the Oaklawn area.
