(DODGE CITY, Kan.) — Dodge City police are looking for a suspect in a stabbing that occurred early Thursday morning.
Around 3:10am officers were called to 1500 1/2 5th street for a report of a stabbing. When they arrived they found a 29-year-old Dodge City woman with several stab wounds. She was taken to the Western Plains Regional Hospital for treatment.
Authorities say that during the incident she bit the suspect on the hand. Police describe the suspect as 5'4" with a possible bite mark on the left hand. The motive for the stabbing is unknown at this time.
