Storm Team 12:

April 21, 2012|By Meteorologist Rodney Price | Storm Team 12

Mostly clear to clear skies will prevail overnight as a weak cold front exits the Kansas region.  Thanks to a lack of moisture, no rain is forecast.  Overnight lows will drop to the 40s for the most part, although the far northwest part of the viewing area will drop into the upper 30s by Sunday morning.

A dry and "coolish" Sunday is on the way, thanks to a north breeze that will turn a bit gusty in the east.  Highs will warm to the middle and upper 60s for most but southwest Kansas will max out in the lower 70s.

An area of high pressure will scoot through the area early Monday, so the work week will start off chilly.  However, a nice warming trend will ensue through mid-week as highs warm well into the 70s and then 80s.

Stormy weather is forecast for Friday and Saturday.
