(NORTH RICHLAND, Tex.) — Matt Robinson collected his own rebound and scored the game-winning goal at 4:44 of overtime, sending Wichita to the CHL Finals for the first time since 1997-98 with a 3-2 win over the Texas Brahmas in Game Six of the Berry Conference Finals. In the third period, Texas tied the game at 5:40 when Brett Findlay carried the puck deep in the zone and gave it off to Brendon Hodge who scored to tie it at two. Down the stretch, Wichita had some good chances including a wide-open look from Chappell but was unable to put it past Fogal and for the second game in a row the two teams needed overtime.

In the extra period, Wichita was able to kill off a Jarred Mohr hooking penalty that resulted at the end of the third. After Robinson (2) was able to keep it in the zone at the blue line, he found a loose puck in the slot and put his own rebound past Fogal at 4:44, sending Wichita to the CHL Finals with a 3-2 overtime win.
