How should schools punish cheating?

(WICHITA, Kan.) —
How strict should a school be when a student cheats?  A California family is suing after their son was caught cheating on homework. 

The sophomore was kicked out of an honors English class for copying another student's work.  His father says the punishment doesn't fit the crime, and could jeopardize the boy's college plans.
