(WICHITA, Kan.) — A nine month-old boy is in the hospital today after nearly drowning in a bathtub Wednesday night.
Police say that a 22 year-old father was giving his two children a bath at an apartment in the 2700 block of east 9th St. He said he left them “briefly” unattended and returned to find his son face down and unresponsive in the water.
The father said he performed CPR and managed to revive the baby.
The boy is in serious but stable condition at Wesley hospital.
