LABETTE COUNTY, Kan. — A two year old boy wandering through a pasture in rural Labette County dies after being hit by a pickup truck.
It happened around 7:00pm Saturday night a half mile South of Oswego.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reports a 30 year old woman was driving the truck through the pasture at the same time. She was unable to see the boy, and ran over him.
The two year old was rushed to the Freeman Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
