Storm Team 12: Gradual warmup

May 14, 2012|By Meteorologist Ross Janssen | Storm Team 12

The weather pattern won't change much this week, but it will allow for a slow warmup through the rest of the week.

Skies will be mainly clear overnight with lows dipping down into the 50-55 range for much of the state. The wind is expected to be light and variable for everyone as high pressure continue to maintain its grip on the area.

Tuesday gets warmer with highs in the low to mid 80s. Skies will generally be sunny with light winds around Kansas.

Warmer weather is expected for Wednesday with highs in the mid-upper 80s. The wind is expected to increase for western Kansas with gusts near 30 mph by the end of the day.
