(SEWARD COUNTY, Kan.) — Two people are dead, several others are hurt after a crash early Tuesday morning in Seward County.
It happened shortly after 1:00 am Highway 83 and Seward County Road 26.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says a van was headed south on HWY 83 when it went left of center, striking an oncoming car head-on. The van came to rest in the southbound lane of HWY 83, the car came to rest in on the northbound shoulder.
The drivers of both vehicles were killed. The driver of the van is identified as 42-year-old Yoh La Li of Garden City, the driver of the car is identified as 42-year-old Ma Khin, also from Garden City.
Three people in the van, including two 16-year-old girls, were also hurt.
