(SALINE COUNTY, Kan.) — A water balloon fight gets out of control, causing major damage to a Salina County farm.  Two teens were arrested and authorities are still investigating what happeend after a massive party north of Salina last week.

The Saline County Sheriff tells Eyewitness News, 100 to 150 teenagers drove their cars into a crop field and threw a party last Thursday evening into Friday morning.

The Sheriff says teens in that area usually have a water balloon fight around graduation. Normally, the party is harmless, but this year teens were caught with alcohol and marijuana and some of the water balloons were filled with ice and bleach.

"Somebody is going to have to answer to the damage that was done to that field", adds Saline County Sheriff Glen Kochanowski.

"If its salvageable is still a question", says land owner Douglas Hill.  The party left behind around $6,000 worth of damage to a crop field.  "Obviously it's going to need a clean up effort out their soon", adds Hill.

Officials tell us the teens are from Salina, but they aren't sure which high school they attend.

More charges may be coming as authorties are still looking the case. Officials say they don't mind graduation parties, just not ones that turn an illegal corner so quickly.
