(GREAT BEND, Kan.) — The man convicted of killing a Great Bend teenager won't be sentenced in June as planned. An order signed by Judge Hannelore Kitts continued the sentencing to a date that has yet to be determined.
Longoria was convicted in April of capital murder for the 2010 death of Alicia DeBolt. It took jurors about three and a half hours to reach a decision.
DeBolt's body was found badly burned at the asphalt plant where Longoria worked. She had been missing for several days before a worker found her body.
