(WICHITA, Kan.) — Emergency crews are on the scene of an early morning house fire. Crews were called to the 1000 block of S. Pattie the shortly before 6 o'clock Tuesday morning, where they were greeted with heavy smoke and flames coming from the back of the home.
We're told everyone made it out of the house. There is extensive damage to the back of the home and the deck area. Pattie Street is blocked in that area because of all of the fire equipment.
No word yet on a cause.
