(WICHITA, Kan.) — This man's story shows how far some people will go to get away with something.
Thomas Parkin has been convicted of grand larceny and fraud for impersonating his mother for six years. Prosecutors showed video of Parkin wearing a wig and using a walker as he pretended to be his deceased mom.
He now faces at least 13 years in prison.
