Darth Vader, Chewbacca, Yoda, Imperial Stormtroopers and C-3PO (let's not forget R2-D2) are on display, alongside for 80 pieces of props and customes used in all six films. There's also a five minute adventure on the Millennium Falcon. Visitors can climb into the cock pit of the famed spacecraft and go into warp speed.

The museum has add educational pieces comparing "Star Wars reality to today's reality", according to Exploration President Jan Luth.

"The exhibit is divided up into four sections," she explained. "Transportation, medical, living and robotics. In each of those sections, there's an opportunity to learn about the science as it relates to Star Wars."

In one section in particular, kids can put together their own robot. In another, people can learn how the Star Wars films influenced medical technology, prosthetics in particular.

"A lot of times, we have in our imagination science fiction. Over time, with scientific research, some aspect of it starts to become real. I think as we watch films like 'Star Wars' and have other fun science fiction experiences in books and movies and TV, it's a glimmer of things that might come at some point."
