WICHITA, Kan. — Wichita police say a gang-related shooting left two people hospitalized over the weekend, one of them in critical condition.
It happened in the 5100 block of E. Bayley early Sunday morning.
Eyewitnesses reported hearing shots, then seeing several people running down an alley. Emergency crews found a 23-year-old man with critical gunshot wounds laying in the street.
He was rushed to the hospital.
Then, 13 hours later, a second victim went to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg from the same incident.
Police have not made any arrests.
They say the shooting stemmed from an unknown conflict at a small party.
