Severe storms moving through central and southern Kansas will be capable of large hail and strong wind gusts into early Thursday. Temperatures will be cooling down significantly for Thursday behind a cold front.
Expect north winds to usher in much cooler temperatures for Thursday with highs in the upper 60s north/low to mid 70s south. Clouds will break for sunshine in the afternoon with north winds gusty until mid afternoon when they should start to diminish.
A quiet night is expected for Thursday, but more storms will be possible in central and northern Kansas Friday afternoon as temperatures will be in the 70s and low 80s.
