The Polk County Sheriff says his body was found about four-tenths of a mile from the wreckage.  The sheriff went on to say it appeared the boy wasn't strapped in and was thrown from the plane after a wing snapped.

"This is a tragedy of monumental proportion, and it breaks our hearts," said Sheriff Judd. "However, we are relieved that we were able to recover this young man so that the surviving family members can have some sort of closure."

The plane crashed killed Ron and Becky Bramlage and their four children.  The Pilatus PC-12 turboprop, single-engine plane, went down in a swamp area of Florida Thursday afternoon.

Ron was flying the plane back to Junction City after visiting the Bahamas.  According to WTSP, the plane began to break apart before it crashed.  Parts of the plane could be found as far as 2 miles from the crash site in the Tiger Creek Swamp area.

The plane was at about 26,000 feet when it began to experience problems. However, investigators do not know at this time what caused the crash.

Ron is the grandson of the late Fred Bramlage.  Fred Bramlage was the lead contributor to the construction of Bramlage Coliseum, a multi-purpose arena that opened in 1988 and is home to the K-State men's and women's basketball teams.

K-State issued a statement about the plane crash.  "We are shocked and saddened by the tragic news of the deaths of Ron and Becky Bramlage and their children today.  The Bramlage family holds a special place in the history of Kansas State University and K-State Athletics, and Ron and Becky have been loyal supporters and great fans of K-State.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the Bramlage family during this difficult time."
