(WICHITA, Kan.) — A man convicted of killing a former Kansas law enforcement officer was set to be sentenced today.  That sentencing has been delayed until July 13.

In March, a jury found Michael Williams guilty of killing his roommate, Sean Putnam, whose body was found buried in an Oaklawn backyard last year.

Williams is the second person convicted in the case. Debroah Weiss is serving nearly 5 years in prison for her role in the murder.
