June 08, 2012|By Meteorologist Rodney Price | Storm Team 12

Mostly clear skies will be the rule overnight as lows drop to the 60s.  It will be a bit breezy in the west.

A summer-like Saturday is on the way as highs approach the century mark in Goodland.   90s will be common elsewhere as gusty south winds prevail.  There will be plenty of sunshine around the area.

A cold front will slip into western Kansas Sunday, bringing slightly cooler temperatures to the northwest.  Highs there will reach the 80s but 90s will again be found to the south of that front.  The boundary will also kick up some late day and evening storms, some of which could turn severe.  Large hail and high winds will be the main concerns with this activity.  Stay tuned!

Highs will drop back to the 80s for all of Kansas early next week, along with a few storms on Monday.
