(WICHITA, Kan.) — The owner of a tattoo parlor near Wichita's Delano District says two people stole his dog in broad daylight and he has the surveillance video to prove it.

Images from cameras mounted behind Sailor's World Famous Tattoos show two people snatch the brindle Boxer named "Emma" last Thursday.

"You wouldn't think somebody would steal a dog but people do messed up things," said Raul Tanguma.

Tanguma said he doesn't like leaving the "Emma" inside his small apartment above the tattoo shop while he works.  So he sometimes leaves her tethered outside and checks on her throughout the day.

The surveillance video shows a young woman walk up to the dog an unhook her collar.  The woman and a man then lead the dog down the street.

Tanguma would like to see the couple charged with a crime, but mostly he just wants his dog back.  "I imagine if they continue doing what they're doing eventually something is going to give," he said.
