A cold front worked its way across Kansas Sunday and through the southeast corner of the state Monday afternoon ushering in northerly winds and drier air.
Behind the front, especially Tuesday, we can expect near normal temperatures in the mid-80s and low humidity. There will a slim chance of a few isolated thunderstorms Tuesday and Wednesday nights but widespread soaking rains are not on our weather horizon any time soon.
Afternoon highs will soar back into the upper-80s and lower 90s over most of the state Thursday through the weekend.
