June 11, 2012|By Meteorologist Ross Janssen | Storm Team 12

The weather won't change much in the next few days with typical June weather in store for Kansas.

Skies will be mostly clear overnight with lows in the 50s for most areas, but some areas in southcentral Kansas won't drop out of the low 60s. Winds are expected to be light overnight.

A few storms are possible early Tuesday in southwest Kansas, but most areas are expected to be rain free for Tuesday afternoon. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s with increasing southeast winds, especially in the afternoon. Scattered storms are possible Tuesday evening in eastern Colorado and far western Kansas, but the activity is expected to remain very isolated.

No big change is expected in the weather for Wednesday with gusty south winds and temperatures that should be in the mid to upper 80s.
