(DODGE CITY, Kan.) — A Dodge City home goes up in flames after being struck by lightning overnight. It happened in the 1000 block of 7th Avenue around 10:30 pm Thursday.
The lightning struck near the homes attic above the living room.
Most of the damage was to the attic of the home.
No one was home at the time and no one was hurt.
