(WICHITA, Kan.) — Westar Energy restores power in west Wichita.
Around midnight Westar's website shows there are just over 100 customers without power in Sedgwick County.
Westar Energy says the triple digit heat has created overload issues with its system. Monday night there were about 2,200 customers without power.
Westar says the outages began around 6:30 in the vening. A spokesperson says most of the outages are limited to west Wichita and are sporadic.
