{ALLEN, Tex.} — After starting the season with an 0-4 record, the Wichita Wild have done the improbable by advancing to the second round of the Indoor Football League playoffs. The Wild defeated the Allen Wranglers on the road on Monday night, 43-40.
That was the fifth time that Wichita had played Allen and it was the third straight win for the Wild against the Wranglers.
The Wild advances to face the Intense Conference regular season champion Tri-Cities Fever this coming Friday at 9:05 central time.
