Vacant house catches fire in SE Wichita

(WICHITA, Kan.) — Wichita fire officials are looking for a cause after an overnight house fire in southeast Wichita.  Fire crews were called to the 2000 block of S. Rosalie around 1:30 Tuesday morning.

Firefighters on the scene say the fire broke out in the kitchen, then spread, causing around $75,000 in damage.

Crews made quick work of the flames and no one was hurt

The home is vacant, but fire officials tell us it was recently occupied.
