The science of tasty tomatoes

(WICHITA, Kan.) — Whether they come from your garden or the local farmer's market, there's nothing like the taste of homegrown tomatoes.  There's something that makes them taste better than what you can buy at the grocery store. 

Now, researchers think they've figured out what that "something" is, and it may some day lead to grocery tomatoes that taste as good as what you grow yourself.  Read more about the research here.
