(WICHITA, Kan) — Wichita police arrest five people after an apparent drive-by shooting early Sunday morning. Police say a car was parked in the 1600 block of N. Market around 2:30 Sunday morning with several people inside.
Another vehicle came up, and several shots were fired into the first car. Three people, two women (35 & 28 years old) and a male (19 years old) were struck. They were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police say they got a good description of the suspect's vehicle, which they found a short time later. Five people in that vehicle were booked for Attempted Second Degree Murder and several other charges.
Police are investigating whether the shooting was gang-related.
