July 02, 2012|By Meteorologist Ross Janssen | Storm Team 12

Although we won't be as hot as last week, this will still be an uncomfortable week with with highs near 100 and virtually no chance for rain.

Lows will be near 70 overnight with clear skies and a light south breeze.

Tuesday will be just a little hotter with much of the state hoovering right around the century mark. There won't be any record highs, but we will be about 10 degrees above average. South winds will gust up to 25 or 30 mph for most of the area.

The 4th of July holiday looks hot and breezy for most of the state. Highs will be near 100 with a sunny sky. The fire danger looks high for the rest of the week, so use caution with any kind of fireworks.
