(WICHITA, Kan.) — A transformer fire left nearly 400 homes without power on Wichita's west side.
It happened at 29th & Ridge around 11:30 this morning.
A spokesperson for Westar Energy says an electric switch caught fire, causing the transformer to fail.
Power has since been restored for the majority of custemers in the area. A reported 7 homes are still without power.
