(WICHITA, Kan.) — Four kids take a car on a joyride...that ended with a crash into a shed early Monday morning.  It all started just before 3:30 Monday morning at Rutgers and Sterling, that's near 21st and Maize Road.

Police say the kids, ages 10 to 13 took an older relative's car.  They'd been driving around the area for about an hour before the crash.

Police tell us, at one point, the 13-year-old who was driving lost control and struck a hydrant at around 60 miles per hour before running into a large shed.

The four kids inside the car were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police have contacted their parents, though there's no word on whether any will face charges.

Several fire crews were sent to the scene to determine the best way to remove the car without causing further damage to the building.
