Several people are hurt after an accident involving a fallen tree at Winfield's city pool.
The fire chief just told Eyewitness News that four people were hurt; three are in critical condition and were flown to a Wichita hospital, one has serious injuries.
KSOK Radio's News Director Shawn Wheat is on the scene at the park where hundreds of people were at the pool Friday afternoon for a large swim meet.
Wheat says several tree limbs fell on tents under the tree, located east of the pool. The tents were set up for shade during the swim meet.
By about 6:00 p.m. Friday evening, authorities had accounted for everyone and had already cleared out the debris.
