MITCHELL COUNTY, Kan. — A groups of teens driving through rural Mitchell County crash their SUV early Sunday morning.
The accident happened shortly after Midnight, 10 miles east of Beloit.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reports the SUV failed to make a curve in the road near 360th & H road. The SUV left the road, drove into a creek, and over turned.
One of the passengers, a 14 year old boy from Beloit, died at the scene. The driver, a 16 year old boy from Beloit, was transported to a local hospital for treatment. A 15 year boy from Beloit and an 18 year old girl from Florida were also rushed to the hospital.
