(WICHITA, Kan.) — It's forced drivers to put on the brakes, but soon the "pothole" bridge on I-235 in Wichita will be smoothed out.
Factfinder 12 heard from drivers in June, complaining about the bumpy bridge on northbound I-235. The bridge crosses the Little Arkansas River between Meridian and Broadway.
The Kansas Department of Transportation says repairs on the bridge will begin on Monday, July 30th. The project will take 45 days, and limit traffic to just one lane. KDOT asks drivers to find alternate routes, if possible, during the project.
