A few thunderstorms in southeast Kansas this evening will fade away around sunset. Elsewhere we will see clear or mostly clear skies tonight and tomorrow. Temperatures Saturday afternoon will top out in the 100-105 degree range. Heat index values will reach from 103-108 degrees over central and eastern Kansas, prompting Heat Advisories through the weekend. There could be some isolated storms in far northwest Kansas Saturday afternoon and evening. It will be hot all next week with a chance for some late day storms in northern sections of the state Monday.
