(WICHITA, Kan.) — KWCH 12 will rebroadcast a political forum for two Sedgwick County primary races, Sedgwick County Sheriff and District Attorney. The forum will air on KSCW, channel 33/Cox Cable 5, on Saturday, July 28 at 9:30 p.m. immediately following “Eyewitness News at 9 p.m. on KSCW.”
Eyewitness News Anchor Roger Cornish moderates the Campaign 2012 forum for Sedgwick County Sheriff between Republican candidates, Bob Hinshaw and Jeff Easter. Topics include how the candidates would deal with jail population and the need for additional facilities. Democratic Sheriff Candidate Jeffery Weinman declined Eyewitness News’ invitation to participate.
