Salina teen killed in crash

(SALINA, Kan.) — A 17 yr. old from Salina died after a rollover crash early monday morning.

The crash happened around 3:15 Monday morning on Holmes Road south of Magnolia.

The Saline County Sheriff tells our news partners at The Salina Journal 17-year-old John Robb was driving south on Holmes Road when the car went into the ditch. Investigators tell The Journal Robb overcorrected and the car rolled at least once, throwing Robb from the vehicle.

Robb was pronounced dead at the scene. A 17-year-old female passenger was taken to a Salina hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
