Colorado theater victim with Kansas ties laid to rest

Jonathan Blunk was laid to rest in Nevada Friday.  He was killed in the Colorado theater shooting.  His mother and brothers live in Andover.

Family and friends began their goodbyes Thursday at a viewing for Blunk.  He died blocking his girlfriend when the gunman opened fire in the crowded theatre.

The 26-year-old is a father of two.  He also served three tours of duty, something family and friends say they're most proud of.  "He served his country very proudly. That's the big thing and he was a great dad," said family spokesman Kim Young.

Blunk was laid to rest with a full military funeral.
