August 03, 2012|By Chief Meteorologist Merril Teller | Storm Team 12

Increasing clouds with scattered showers and storms tonight. A cold front will move into northwest Kansas over night and then move southeastward across the state tomorrow. The front will help touch off more showers and storms during the day Saturday. There will still be some triple digit highs on Saturday in south central and southeast Kansas, but no triple digit readings are expected on Sunday even with decreasing clouds. Things will heat back up again next week with rain chances returning Tuesday night and Wednesday.
