August 04, 2012|By Chief Meteorologist Merril Teller | Storm Team 12

A cold front has swept across the state today ushering in cooler temperatures and scattered showers and thunderstorms. As the front continues to move off to the southeast so will the rain. Sunday will bring sunny to mostly sunny skies and high temperatures in the 89 to 95 degree range. Monday will start off on the mild side but then heat back up into the mid to upper 90s. The next chance for rain will be Tuesday night over western and northern Kansas and then on Wednesday statewide.
