(MULVANE, Kan.) — The Kansas Star Casino announced today that it is starting the process of hiring the additional 400 employees needed for the opening of its permanent casino and new restaurants early next year.

Kansas Star needs to recruit approximately 40 more dealers.

The casino will hold group interviews this month in preparation for a third class of the Star’s dealers school, to begin in September.

The school lasts ten weeks and also marks an expansion of training for our current dealers so that they may learn additional games.

Along with an expanded gaming floor with 100,000 square feet, more than 1,800 slots and 45 table games, the phase two expansion also includes a dedicated 10-table poker room.

Other positions to be hired run the spectrum of the large and diverse development, including information technology, purchasing, front office staff, customer service, RV park operators, security, grounds maintenance, housekeeping, and more.
