Monday temps will not be as warm as Sunday's despite mostly sunny skies then look for rain chances to arrive Monday night here in Kansas.
Monday afternoon we can expect highs topping out in the comfortable upper-80s to around 90 degrees with moderate winds statewide.
Clouds will increase this evening as a weak storm system coming over the Rockies spreads widely scattered showers and isolated storms across parts of Kansas Monday night into Tuesday morning. The rain will not be too heavy but some totals ranging from around .25-.50".
The heat will be on here in Kansas once again by midweek when temperatures return to the upper 90s by Wednesday. After hot weather Wednesday it appears a potent cold front will push our way Wednesday night into Thursday bringing a good bet to get wet with significant rain and a few strong storms around our region.
