August 17, 2012|By Meteorologist Rodney Price | Storm Team 12

Clouds will thicken up overnight across Kansas with some scattered showers and thunderstorms developing.  The best chance for moisture will be over central and western Kansas.   Overnight lows will drop into the 50s west, with lower 60s east.

We'll see plenty of clouds on Saturday, with chances of showers and storms in the morning, then again in the afternoon.  Highs will reach the upper 70s to lower 80s.

The upper level storm system responsible for the rain chance will move away from Kansas late Saturday night.  More sunshine will be around on Sunday.  Highs will top out in the 80s.

Another storm system looks to arrive late Monday night into Tuesday.  Highs will warm gradually through the work week.
