Clouds will be on the increase tonight across Kansas. Thunderstorms will continue in the west this evening, with some isolated severe weather chances too. The main concerns from the stronger storms will be quarter size hail and winds to 65 mph. These storms will slowly drift eastward overnight. Look for lows in the 60s and 70s.
Mostly cloudy to cloudy skies will be the rule for both Friday and Saturday with off and on periods of showers and thunderstorms. There could be some pockets of locally heavy rain, to the tune of 1-2 inches or more. The rain will move out of the far eastern area of the state by late Sunday with warming temperatures on the way for next week.
